Location

The interior fuse box is under the dashboard on the driver's side, behind a hinged trim cover below the steering column to the left of the pedals. Pull the cover down by its tab; the fuse layout label is on the inside of the cover and the box itself is the MICU (multiplex integrated control unit).

The 5-door hatchback (FK/FN) and the 4-door saloon (FD) use different interior boxes; this layout is for the European hatchback and Type R (FN2). Several fuses carry low-current logic feeds to the MICU, so a blown 7.5 A can disable seemingly unrelated functions. Use only the yellow puller supplied in the cover. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
