Location

The interior fuse box is low on the driver's side of the dashboard, behind a trim panel to the left of the steering column and above the footwell kick panel. Pull the panel off by its edge; the fuse map is on the back of the panel and the box can be tilted down slightly for access.

Mazda does not include spare fuses in this box; keep a few 7.5/10/15 A minis in the glovebox. On the 2.2 MZR-CD diesel the fuel heater and DPF-related fuses sit in the engine-bay box. If the audio unit and clock both lose memory, check the 15 A ROOM/AUDIO fuse before suspecting the head unit. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
