Location

The fuse box is at the lower left of the dashboard, hidden behind a small hinged flap under the steering wheel, next to the bonnet release. Pull the flap down from its top edge; the fuses face you and a plastic fuse puller is stored inside.

Fuse layout changed slightly across facelifts (1998, 2003, 206+). Always compare with the label on the flap. A second fuse box with relays and maxi fuses is in the engine bay beside the battery. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
