Location

Open the bonnet and look at the rear left corner of the engine bay, next to the battery. Unclip the plastic cover and lift it off to reach the fuses and relays underneath.

The maxi fuses here protect high-current systems such as the cooling fan, ABS pump, glow plug supply (diesel) and trailer brake controller used when towing. Several relays sit in their own rows at the bottom of the box; check the printed diagram on the lid before pulling any of them. Disconnect the battery ground before working near this box. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
