Location

The inner fuse panel is at the left end of the dashboard, behind a rectangular cover beside the driver's door hinge. Pull the cover towards you to unclip it; the fuse legend is printed on the inside and a fuse puller is stored in the engine-bay box lid.

The i30 FD shares its platform and wiring with the Kia Ceed ED, so the two panels are nearly identical. A small memory-fuse switch may be present on the panel: it is pushed in at the factory to connect the audio/clock memory fuse and disconnects the standby load when the car is stored. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
