Location

Open the bonnet and look at the rear left corner of the engine bay, directly above the battery. Release the clips on the plastic cover and lift it off to reach the fuses and relays underneath.

The maxi fuses here protect high-current systems such as the cooling fan, ABS/DSC pump, alternator and the main ignition relay supply. Several relays sit in their own row at the bottom of the box; check the printed diagram on the lid before pulling any of them. Disconnect the battery ground before working near this box. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
