Known weak points
- Misfires from a tired coil pack and HT leads, worst in damp weather, with a flashing engine light at idle
- Plastic thermostat housing cracking or seeping, dropping the coolant level and causing fluctuating temperature readings
- Electric power steering (EPAS) torque sensor and motor faults: intermittent loss of assistance and a steering warning
- Rear wheel bearings humming from around 80,000 km, louder on one side in bends
- Clutch release bearing and concentric slave cylinder squeal or pedal that stays soft when hot
- Anti-roll bar drop links and front top mounts knocking over bumps
