Location

Open the glovebox fully and remove the fuse box cover on its left inner wall to reach the fuses and relays.

On xDrive models the transfer case control fuse is active; on the rare front/rear-wheel-only variants this slot may be unused. The box also carries the electric parking brake fuse, which should be checked if the brake fails to release. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
