Location

Open the bonnet and look at the rear left corner of the engine bay, next to the 12V auxiliary battery. Release the clips on the plastic cover and lift it off to reach the fuses and relays underneath. This box is separate from the sealed high-voltage hybrid battery and its orange cabling.

The maxi fuses here protect high-current systems such as the cooling fan, brake actuator, electric power steering and the DC-DC converter that charges the 12V battery from the hybrid system. Several relays are shared with the low-current side of the hybrid control unit. Never work on the orange high-voltage cabling; leave that to a qualified hybrid technician. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
